My take on the unreleased old world jack mini.

So rather than hack my orginal up. I bought another from evilbay very cheaply and did some drive by green stuffing this am:

This is the unreleased one:

Wow, how on earth did you manage to get such a perfectly spherical surface? All my puny attempts on anything remotely spherical end in total failure (me shouting 'Balls!', which is the only way I come close to a sphere)

Lol

A good yellow blue mix, warm days and spittle! ;)

Also i always cut out the strip in the middle where the yellow and blue 'stuff' join together. I find that bit can be quite lumpy.

Good luck mate.

Looks awesome. Guess you just had one of those revelations...wait I just..

I'm a great fan of drive-by 'hobbying' the same 'muse' this morning got all my nort pillboxes individually numbered, 14 souther trooper visors gs'd, some minor conversions to closed helmets on a few imperial guard/army minis, a harlequin jetbike rider torso and arm swop and a bit more green stuffery done.

Picking up a mini and just going for it in a completely spontaneous way is all pary of the fun! ;)

I have been thinking of doing exactly the same

You beat me to it, so now please make a cast and send us less talented blokes a copy ;)

Clever sculpting indeed - but why didn't you just scrape the original helmet clean and smooth with a scalpel?
