What is the current board made with?

The current board is made of architecture board (a cardboard sandwich filled with foam). The squares are made of keraquick (a kind of plaster, but harder). I used molds from "Flint" of the "HQ Cooperation Forum". My new board is inspired by "Comissar Caos'" board (a member of the HQ Cooperation, too):

 
Really nice, the lot of it! As I'm also having a go at painting up my HQ minis, I'd love to know about the board you're talking about.
 
Really nice stuff. It all comes together great. Will the metal sorcerer be based up for heroquest too?

I have a question. You mentioned that you want to make the squares bigger. Why is that? Are there some practical problems with the squares you have? I am thinking of making some dungeon tiles in similar style so I am interested in the practicalities of it.
