Muties!

Hi!

I am on the lookout for some Mutants to use as evil underlings or shuffling hordes of the oppressed for a bit of a Rogue Trader project I have going at the moment and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for some preferably cheap options?

Scavvies from Necromunda would do at a pinch but they are beginning to get a bit more pricey on the dreaded ebay these days. If push comes to shove, I can always convert or sculpt some but I was wondering what figures other folks may be using?

Muties form the Judge Dredd range are not very expensive on ebay.

If you are not allergic to it, plastic maybe a great help here. You can easily get yourself some imperial guards and kitbash them with some plastic zombies and plastic chaos mutations. You 'll have very convincing muties in no time like that.
 
How about a mish-mash of cheap metal humans plus plastic kits (guard+militia+zombies+beastmen+flagellants) scored cheap from ebay plus these heads from maxmini http://maxmini.eu/conversion-bits/head- ... Heads-bits or these ones http://puppetswar.eu/product.php?id_product=45 plus maybe the chaos mutation sprue that came with the older plastic chaos models. Alternatively you could ask fate to intervene and get everybody on the forum to send you random plastic bits and see what you can produce from them! :grin:
