Movement Trays?

I am not sure how I feel about movement trays for 25mm WFB.

They are very handy for my 10mm as they would be a nightmare to move one by one, they are so light that if you try to slide them as a unit they end up in a pile.

My wife is a fan of them so I have cut her a movement tray with my laser cutter, but not sure if I want them for my own models.
What are your feelings around movement trays?

Don't like em. Not using them also prevents disucssions like "measuring from base to base, or movement tray to movement tray, or base to movement tray"... There are some "invisible" ones, but they require bases to match. I for example, with my metal bases, could use one that has no trim (covered with manetic sheeting), but then there is still the issue of additional height... as said, I don't like them :)

i think they're useful for speeding up the initial maneuvering stages of a game. inevitably, formation changes mean figures get taken off them, but that's okay.
