MORE Prizes Added Project Alchemy - a Charity Fundraiser

Wouldn't it be great if there was some way to get excited about the wargaming hobby in combination with raising cash for charity?

Well, actually, there is! Over the last 6 months myself and some others have been pulling together a simply amazing pool of prizes for a charity raffle in aid of the international childrens' charity, UNICEF.

We are launching with an initial pool of 15 prizes, with a further 15 being added over the course of the project. Here are just some of the fabulous prizes up for grabs:

Donations are made through JustGiving - the secure charitable donations platform (linked from the Project Alchemy website) using credit or debit card, or paypal. Every £1 donated to the project qualifies the donor to receive a raffle ticket to be entered into the draw (i.e. £5 donated = 5 tickets). The donation period runs until 9th November, after which the prize draw will be made.

Please donate generously!

Yep and then we raise money by threatening to play it to people unless they cough up.

Wish I had something desirable enough to add to the prizes, I guess you'll just have to take my cash.

Re: Project Alchemy - a Wargaming Prize Charity Fundraiser

Good work guys, fun way to raise money for a great cause.

Some nice prizes in there too, can't wait to see what else you have.

Re: Project Alchemy - a Wargaming Prize Charity Fundraiser

Re: Project Alchemy - a Wargaming Prize Charity Fundraiser

Hmm, I think I forgot to tick the box saying you could contact me. I put my forum name against my donation, so I hope that will allow you to send me all the goodies I win ;)

Re: Project Alchemy - a Wargaming Prize Charity Fundraiser

Don't worry Mister Rab...already got you sorted on my donor tracker...I know where you live ;)

Just over £200 raised on the first day - great result & thanks to everyone who has contributed so far.

Please take a look - if you like what you see, why not donate a couple of ££?!

Re: Project Alchemy - a Wargaming Prize Charity Fundraiser

Our current total is £673! As an incentive to donate, the prize pool gets bigger - five fantastic new prizes have just been added. A superb classic Iron Claw Space Pirate painted by Battlebrush Studios, artwork by Des Hanley and Roberto Cirillo, as well as some rather tasty miniatures. Here's a teaser, to see all the new prizes and for information on how to win them, visit the Project Alchemy website or Facebook page

Re: Project Alchemy - a Wargaming Prize Charity Fundraiser

At roughly halfway through the fundraising period, we've broken the £1,000 total - a fantastic result and thanks to all who have donated to date. Don't forget, the more you donate, the more chances you have to win, as every £1 = 1 entry into the prize draw.

To help encourage more donations, we've added another 5 fantastic prizes to the pool for the draw:
