Battle Masters Beastmen unit 1 of 8. Still missing some highlights on the skin and fur. The belt and axe shaft are also waiting for paint. Referring the brush stroke app, ten hours were spent for the project, yet.

Very crisp and very nice. Those trousers are absolutely fantastic, you've a steadier hand than I have! I have fond memories of this game, although I've always had a soft spot for hexagons.
Did you have a plan for the beastman shields - my memory is a touch foggy, but I half remember there being stickers in Battlemasters - is that correct?

That is correct. But the stickers are too small and doesn't fit on the shields very well. Furthermore the stickers are relatively thick. I thought about hand painting the shields, but that would delay the project of a full painted set even more. I am going to upsize the designs and use a decal service provider. With a gloss varnish base coat and the use of a decal softener, a decal almost can't be recognised as it.

Good idea. I had reasonable success using some laser decal paper and having a DIY bash at home. Plain black icons (in my case Imperial Fist icons) worked okay, colour ones were okay-ish if overlaid on a white background, but not quite saturated enough in colour to really hold up (this was clear decal sheet). I expect a dedicated decal printer will ensure saturation and also have access to white ink which is rather useful!
