Monolith Ork Gobsmasha

I had one of these but traded it to Cheetor,

Other then this from this CCM website I know very little as well.

Steve Mussared of Monolith produced a small range of resin vehicles and titans in both 40K and Epic scales. With the exception of the Ork Gargant, most of these models were only every produced in small runs of 30 on a trial basis to test the market. These seem to have been made available at a few trade shows only and so were never available to the general wargaming community.

My understanding is that Steve Mussared was bidding for the licence to produce 40k tie-in vehicles. He produced a small range, in relatively low quantities, but lost out when the licence(s) headed across to the US to Armorcast, Forgeworld USA and Epicast.

Up to ~5 years ago, Steve was known to be casting up very small numbers for collectors, so the actual number in the wild may well be more than the 30 detailed on the CCM page. That said, they are very uncommon.

The Monolith vehicles I have are a very hard, brittle resin. I'm not sure how it would react to Dettol though.

Test the dettol in a small amount on the bottom of the model. If it makes the resin go soft or gooey then dont use it! SHould be ok though.
