Minotaur measurement needed before converting.

Hi there. I'm posting this again as yesterday's thread somehow disappeared.

I'm planning in doing a (weird) Demon Prince/ Spawn conversion as I've got a spare Dragon Ogre lower body. The idea is (maybe) using a Minotaur Lord body (picture below; I'll be using the skull face if possible). I don't own the minotaur yet (and it won't be easy /cheap) so I first I need to know how big his waist is. I'd like to know how big he is under his belly.






My guess is that the mino is too small, but that's why I need you. If you own one, Can. you measure it for me? Thanks!

okay.. erm.. I don't have the figure BUT:

I would say it's 15mm round. That is based on it being a 40mm base in the picture, and if you look at the pieces, it's a round nub. Can't remember the measurements for the dragon ogre, that's the later Perry ones but I think that is similar enough that it shouldn't be hard to blend it.

If anyone has the minotaur, that will give much better size of course. If no-one comes forward, I would say 15mm is a good and fair enough estimate.

I just saw the dragon body in my desk and that's 14mm (15 if you count the belt) so I hope you're right. Let's wait for someone who can confirm.

Gore-Strom was my first choice before I saw the skull head & bird claw of Sir Loin, so yeah, it may be useful.

The waist on his upper half is ~12mm left–right at the widest part and ~10mm front–rear.

I have that model to hand. The upper half waist is roughly an 11mm circle, perhaps pushing 12mm at it's widest.

So it’s a bit small but can be worked with some sculpting 🫡 thank you very much!!!

I think my measurement might have been from the bottom bit ^_^ but it was rough, so not far out, though noticeable difference.. some sculpting would deal with that
