Mighty Fortress ideas

Anyone got pictures of a completed mighty fortress? I have a few ideas, but also looking for some inspiration.

Thanks everyone!

Just found this post.

That's a great idea Bulldoglopez!! But I'm mightily confused

What exactly are you planning to do? Copy the photo? Design your own along similar lines? Incorporate the Mighty Fortress into a castle Greyskull kit?

Are those pictures of the kit at the bottom, your one's? Or from a show? Is it just one kit you have? Or all three?

That picture of the skull castle, where's that from?

Lastly, do you like being asked impertinent questions from your fellow forum friends?

LMAO! Just some pictures of Castle Greyskull I saw online while browsing castle images. I sketched up an idea last night and ordered a 6" tall styrofoam skull from amazon last night.

I'm thinking of mounting the fortress on a block of 2" foam and making some plaster rocks using woodland scenics rock molds.

I need to find more embellishments because I don't want it to look like it's just a Mighty Fortress with a skull glued to it.

I'm going to be building up a rock base for the fortress and embellishing the walls with skulls. I'm also using some spare wall sections to build a parapet on the back wall. I will have this built and painted in time for Oldhammer In The New World in Allentown. If you're state-side try and make it and you'll get a chance to fight over this fortress.

Great stuff.
Keep meaning to get around to building one of these properly myself.
Great that you are.

Quick update on the project. ot the ground work done and started blocking in colors last night.

I used plaster cloth to build up the ground and then coated the ground with hydrocal and scattered with sand.

The colors have been blocked in using a mix of craft paints and woodland scenics pigments.
