Wanted MB12/MM47 Giant Ogre Arms or compatible

I'm not 100% sure which ones as a preference but I recently picked up (in a lot with other bits for 99p (technically) a Marauder Giant Ogre with Head, body and both legs (long version). Problem is missing both left and right arms.

Wondering if anyone happens to have a spare set of arms for a decent price (I'm well aware I got a great bargain for the Ogre.. It was a little hard to make out in the picture but I had a feeling I knew what it was, and some of the other bits have some interest). What I think is far more likely is compatible arms. If there are any ranges around with arms which are pretty compatible or some fan sculpts maybe.. I'm just not sure and haven't really found much I'm sure on (I know wargames Atlantic do some empire ogres but don't really fit the style and I'm not sure about the sizing anyway.)

yeah. Personally, out of the Giant Ogre sets, I would have liked the two which were clearly bases for Heroquest ^_^ but still happy. HQ ogre arms are too small.. I might have to double check the BM one though..

whoa.. just compared.. the BM Ogre is the same size and works well with the Giant Ogres. The shoulders are a bit further apart but just quickly lining up, looks like a pretty good fit size wise.. wonder if they used them as he base.. annoying I have a couple of space Front pieces for that guy but not the back but... I'll have to see what can be done.

There are actually a pair of Heroquest prototype giant ogres. They're similar to the released ones but with subtle differences.

I though they might be but looking at some of the parts and heads.. they clearly based it on the giant ogres (or was it the other way around?... no, giant ogres came first). Haven't seen the HQ prototypes though..

The later (4th Ed ? ) Dragon Ogres had weapon arms that should fit the Giant Ogres. No seperate left arms though.
Even later (6th Ed?), Chaos Ogres came along which should also fit the bill nicely. I do think that they were recently officially reissued as an 'old world' release or something.

Just to close, the Ogre rom BM is very much perfectly sized. I was gonna take a quick photo showing how well it fits but a mix of time and.. well, time for today ^_^ need to drill out some holes and the ogre still needs striping as it looks like it was painted, then painted over white instead of being stripped. and with them layers, there are still mold line overflow not removed oh and the BM ogre's left hand is a bit.. undefined fingers.. so I wanna tweak them a bit
