It's interesting to hear his side, but man, you can tell he's had a lifetime of corporate speak. According to him, everything through the 2000s and 2010s was rosy, with just a few little bumps in the road.

I had drifted out of the hobby in these years, but I even I was aware of the horrible reputation GW had over this time among the hobby community.

And unless someone tells me different, I'd say this guy was behind all of it.

It was an interesting interview, yes there was plenty of management speak and he dug his own hole a few times, but at least he seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the models and games.

wasn't this the period where GW got really REALLY bad and almost went bankrupt if it wasn't for turning alot of there ranges and White Dwarf into the Peter Jackson's LotR fan club?
