Loyalist Space Marines

They've been at the back of my brain for a while, and I've finally painted one! An inquisitor in Terminator armor, heavily inspired by OldGrumpyWolf 's incredible version on Instagram.

I've picked up some bomb bots from mrbigtong, who came with a mechanic, so that might be my next.

Not for a while though - I've orcs and goblins to paint first...
But, anyway - a start!

Final pics. I changed the colour of the power gloves fingers on the good advice of Old Grumpy Wolf, and ran another highlight over the red, and tidied the face up.

Lovely. So nice to see a new old school prim arch, I always thought poor Leman was quite lonely. Also I've got so used to seeing oversized swords I keep looking at the model thinking the sword looks small when in fact it's totally correct! I think I'm going to enjoy your quest through the loyalists. Good stuff.

Have you tried just a black rim on the bases? I've always done mine in black as I like the way it frames the model.

AHH, yes I have tried black, but I was just experimenting with a different colour I kinda like separating out projects with differing basing. Not a complete disaster as I can always go back to black if i tire of it!
