Lizardmen

So thanks to Fooz's old school in a new school way I have been inspired to finally (re) paint those lizardmen. Never had enough to make a proper army but should be enough for a good skirmishing force.

So last night I did one, just to try out the colours. Whilst researching possible colours I came across a smooth fronted caimanhttp://animaldiversity.org/collecti...ligatoridae/Paleosuchus_trigonatus/medium.jpg, not got the colours quite right but think it'll work.
And the Mixtec people including a symbol they used for crocodile. Let me know what you think of the colours, not the execution!




Now I just need to decide on the base.

Nicely done sir,

I don't like the models, but I can appreciate the paint job. My preference are the Tom Meier box set, but that's me!

Thank you for reminding me, I forgot I had these in the loft.



They will join the ranks at some point.

Also noticed on another thread the suggestion of doing bases in bulk, as a way of unifying them. Never thought of it before, definitely going to give a go.

Unit Champion is in progress.

First unit done, except for bases.



Next up a unit of lizardmen holding a great weapon, no shield - that should speed things up a bit.

Real life, and Blood bowl, got in the way so it has been a while. Progress has started again though.

So here we have the long waited for Lizardmen with great weapon and jaguar skin cloaks.

Some small progress made on the bases as well.

Next I think will need to be a character or two...
