I've painted a Light Wizard with 2 acolytes for my Classic Empire Army:

They have come out very nicely. The dry brushing on the blue has ended up giving a good impression of fabric weave and I think that works nicely against the smoother white. The serpent head on the staff is particularly nice with the green/gold and red eyes for contrast.

Oh, the great Pyramid of the Light Mages moved? not surprising. though they did always have a semi-Egyptian theme with their rune being the Serpent of Light, and the large subterranean pyramids (though pyramids are hardly a unique thing to Egypt and are more common outside of Egypt..
