Jes Goodwin Ogres "bounty hunter" and "mercenary"

I'm not too sure if this is the right place to post this or not....

I have been working on my collection of Jes Goodwin Ogres off and on for some years now. There are two sculpts that I have very rarely seen-either in a collection or available for sale or trade. I have found them labeled "bounty hunter" and "mercenary" in some of the old catalogues posted online.

So here is my query to the forum members: Are these just rare figures? Or is there some other possible reason I'm not finding them? Is it possible that different figures in the line were produced in differing quantities? I am left to speculate. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

(Also, if you own one of these figures, would you be so kind as to post an image? I would love to see painted examples, especially of the "bounty hunter". I have been enamored with that sculpt since I was young.)

Thank you all.

I don't think 'Bounty Hunter' is particularly rare, but I do think that the one labelled as 'Mercenary' may have been retired at some point in the late 80's, possibly as it ripped moulds, which was the usual reason for retiring odd figures. I also seem to remember that 'Mutant Ogre' was also discontinued at some point.

Pretty certain neither were available in the Ogres range by the time I started working there in '89. I only really remember as an Ogre army is one of the first things I built when I started there, and pretty certain they weren't among my horde!

Sadly the ogre army is long gone. I do have a copy of Bounty Hunter again, but he's still in the leadpile awaiting paint.

*EDIT*

Just looked, and although 'Mercenary' is in the '91 catalogue, they could have been photographed at any point up to a couple of years before and retired prior to it coming out.

I too always loved the bounty hunter ogre ever since I saw it in a white dwarf issue which had Heroquest as a predominant feature. Think it was 154, Space crusade art on the front cover. I eventually managed to nab one off ebay last year. But they do not appear very frequently.

Although mine isn't painted yet (white undercoat and skin done so far) I did find some good painted ogres on this blog by Goblin Lee.

Bounty hunter is at the end, Mercenary is there too.
