Is this jump pack an old GW piece?

I asked this question on DakkaDakka, and got a few replies. One suggested I ask the question here.
I am getting back into the hobby and I've been 3d printing figures and going through my old stuff I still have laying around.

Summary of DakkaDakka post:
I bought an eBay lot of bits, a very long time ago, for some RT era jump packs. In the lot was one jump pack I've never seen before or since.
I'm trying to determine who may have produced it.
I did a bunch of searching on Google and only found 1 reference to the same jump pack. It was for an old eBay auction where the seller said the pack was a GW prototype.
I'm suspicious of anyone claiming a prototype bit so I emailed GW. They confirmed that it was a bit that was never released by them but wouldn't confirm that it was some unreleased prototype.
pics attached show the questionable jump pack in between a regular metal 2nd edition jump pack and a RT era jump pack .

Does anyone know if this Jump pack was produced by a different company than GW, if so who?
Thanks!

Sorry not one I recognise. However presumably if GW have claimed it as one of theirs then quite possibly it is. As to prototype status, well there are plenty of Citadel sculpts that didn't make it into day to day production so no reason to think that someone didn't do a few alternative jump packs - chronologically they could come at any point - I guess that makes them prototypes of a sort. Although I'd be inclined to think this one probably came after what I think of as the original jump pack (ie the one by #17) since the styling is heading towards the later one.

Anyhow we've a few deep collections on here and the odd ex staffer who might have sharp memories!

Yup.
I saw all those when I was searching for the history of my mystery jump pack.
GW's response was irritating. They confirmed it was never an officially released product. They wouldn't admit if they have ever seen one like it before. They said that it had design elements from both of the other 2 jump packs so it could be something they sculpted but wouldn't confirm if they did or not and wouldn't tell me anyway if they had. I know there are more than one of them out there thanks to the eBay listing.
I just can't find anything else out about it.

well yeah, clearly the first one is a Jes Goodwin Mk2 jump pack,
third is clearly the Rogue trader jump pack but I can't remember who sculpted that one
the middle mystery one.. well.. I can tell you 1) I have seen a few of them before, 2) It 100% wasn't an official Citadel release and all copies I have seen are quite poorly cast.

I wouldn't say it had design elements from both as in a 'half way' point but more a third party. I'm trying to remember where I saw them before to give an idea of what companies might have been doing them around the 90s, which is something I'm also sure about. but right now, that's all I can say

Sorry that was my misunderstanding, I took it they had confirmed it was one of their own.

Just for posterity since those ebay pics will vanish in time here are those from the mentioned listing I'll attach them here.
