Inchmurrin's Oldhammer fantasy gallery

So another of my "how much bigger is it" scale creep examples. I am working more in plastic these days for conversions etc and I recently completed a Realm of chaos inspired primaris sized Slaaneshi Chaos Space Marine and thought a comparison shot with one of my "How to do Oldhammer" chaos warriors (in the absence of a Chaos Renegade ) might be informative. The new one is huge, and isn't even GW he's a 3d print I got in a job lot. Things have changed! Oh and he's supposed to be a bit grim dark.

Comments most definitely invited.

yeah.. that new stuff is crap.. also I don't like when companies think adding more weak points in an armour is a pro.. instead of solid piece of armour, it's got tons of weak points all over the armour... yikes.. alot of people do that this days to add 'detail'..

new stuff I thought was 38mm scale more then 28, but I might be wrong.. they just might be bad at scaling

They are quite tall those new Slaaneshi marines! That chaos warrior has a good old coat of paint on him! ;)
In my defense he was painted in February 2016 when I had just started back and yes there is a lot of paint on him. As I am going to build a chaos warrior army over the winter we can see how my painting has changed over 9 years. Maybe not by much:lol:

I continue with the Tzeentch theme another chaos sorcerer this time with a missing head to his mace thingy. So a more traditional spiky mace from a chaos marauder serves instead, following the style of his mace and spell book colleague. At least one more of these to follow which reminds me - How many Tzeentch sorcerers does it take to change a torch? Only one but he needs summon a Greater Demon to ask permission:lol::lol::lol: .
