I think I now have a list of all 4E magic items

It took quite a bit of sorting, but I believe it's as follows:
Warhammer box: 12 items
Battle Magic: 111 items
Arcane Magic: 84 items
Chaos box: 20 rewards, 13 items
Chronicles of War: 18 items

Arcane Magic was meant to be the "be all and end all" listing, with details on all cards to date. But then the Dark Elves book was released (6 items, no cards), followed by Chronicles of War, the Wood Elves book (16 items, no cards) and the White Dwarf special character (4 items/cards) snuck in just before 5E arrived.

At this point I'm fairly sure:
5/18 of the CoW cards were in WD194 as extras
4/6 of the Dark Elf cards were in WD196
3/16 of the Wood Elf cards were in WD197
4/4 of the White Dwarf cards were in WD200

The Wood Elves cards then get a bit messy as 13 of them carry over to 5E Magic as special-character-only items and another 3 just seem to disappear.

How this began was I've been playing 4E in recent years and I kept finding additional cards I owned that weren't listed in the Arcane Magic book. I'd like to list these all up on the Oldhammer wiki if possible, but I don't have enough posts to be able to message Zhu.

Looks like you’ve only posted once as EGG. Look through some other threads and if there is anything that you can contribute (even if it’s just to say “nice paint job”) make an addition. I don’t know the magic number that you need to reach before the messages open up to you but it’s definitely more than one and probably no more than 10

Well I guess on that note, the original reason I signed up to the forum a few years back was because I was interested if there was ever a compilation made of the 2nd/3rd edition rules which came out in White Dwarf? I know various things like the 2nd Ed Zombie Dragon rules were published there, but I don't know if anyone has collated the various articles.

I'm hoping to have a shot at playing some 3rd ed games sometime soon.

Hmmm I’m only aware of the 40k, Spacehulk and Judge Dredd articles being complied into books by GW. Possibly someone did an unofficial compilation for WFB3e?
