I need a mostly naked dwarf

Yeah.

I thought that title would get you into this thread.

I have a modelling project (not that kind of modelling...) that requires a mostly naked dwarf. He doesn't need to be in an ...unusual pose, he just needs to be mostly naked. A dwarf in a loincloth or some sort of underwear would be ideal. I was wondering if the community might be able to point me to other figures (not concerned about manufacture or date of production) that are not GW slayers (who I guess are the most obvious answer).

I'm not sure I want to know why but at least we know why the blog's called "Warhammer for adults" now (if proofs were still needed)

For the model, I'd use a war machine crew member too, easy to file the pants away and a little greenstuff job here and there would be just what you need to have a dwarf with very little clothe on.
 
it's irrelevant as it's pure unobtanium, but as an aside, I believe Jez sculpted a naked dwarf to show their anatomical structure was feasible at one point. So yeah, they exist, but you'll have to find something else! ;) :grin:
 
Midlam Miniatures has four chained dwarven slaves in loincloth. But they're tiny; true 28mm scale in realistic proportions. I've got them and they are really nice figures.

Thanks for the responses - those last links were surprisingly useful. I hope to reveal the purpose of the little bugger soon enough, but you'll have to wait a little longer. In the end, I've found another dwarf candidate who isn't quite naked, but is most eminently suitable for the purposes.

So, cheers all and apologies for the suspense (both through my lack of response and my painting schedule...) - I look forward to revealing his nefarious purpose.
 
Hi Gaj, if you haven't gotten your skillful hands on a naked dwarf by now, I have a Morrison Slayer with your name on it who'd be happy to be employed by you for whatever purpose you need a nearly naked dwarf for. Just pm me your address and I'll drop it off next time I'm at the post office.
 
Well, that is mighty generous, Mr T - but I have found a candidate dwarf for the job. In the end, he turned out not to be mostly naked, but that one fact aside, he represents everything I was trying to say. I'm hoping I'll have time to paint him for BOYL, but he might have to wait for some troops who are currently in the queue...

Thanks for your generosity though - that's the stuff that really makes this community tick! Suck on that, Warseer...
