I finished my dragon newt

Some weeks ago I finished my Dragon Newt - an old Asgard miniature. It's a great piece and I must say that it really won my Heart. This is the result. I hope you like it:

By the way, sorry for the drizzle on the newt’s head. I forgot to brush it away before taking the Pictures.

Cheers

Thanks. The model has some reptillian strangeness I like quite a lot and beckons weird markings.

Cheers

Great work. Love how he's sneaking through the reeds (thinks he can't be seen, not so clever!) on that awesome scenic base.

Did you make up the reeds? If so, how? If not, where are they from?

Brilliant! My own dragon newt needs a little greenstuff fixing on the back fin before I paint it. Lucky, since I might nick your idea of adding detail like the spots on either side (I was going to be boring and just paint it blue).

The reeds were made by the good ol' method of cutting the hairs from an old brush and sticking them into the Miliput that covers the entire base. Glad you like them.
