How I Warband Oldhammer style

So I have been trying to break my gaming partners of the 3000 pt army before I game syndrome. It is tough when you have painters as gaming partners and they would much rather knock out 10 more figures, then play with the five they already have finished.

Then I thought if this is a problem for me it might be a problem for some of you. So I headed to our trusty Oldhammer sites, revamped a couple of the articles with comic life, and printed up the articles to hand out.

*sorry if when you print some of the tables are a bit fuzzy, you should have Realm of chaos by now though

These can be found on Orlygg's site in their originality. I just churched up the warband post a bit.

I have been using both these articles for all my chaos warband needs. However you can use them for any bit of skirmish gaming. It is an easy way to get started Oldhammering as well. So get that pile of miniatures out, or head to ebay and grab a champion. Then post all your exploits here on the forum for us all to enjoy!!!

Remember all you need is one champion and your imagination.
Like this brought to us by Secundus Iron mitten, give it a read.

Hmmm...looks like the goblin player was using my dice...

I think you've convinced me on comic life, though! Well done.

Oh dear.
Despite owning no fantasy miniatures and not owning this book I have generated a war band.

Level 5 chaos dwarf champ with beastial face and . . . Technology? (Is that what 878 would be? Can't read it well)
3 ogres.
6 beastmen.
5 chaos dwarfs
2 humans

I feel like I'm teetering on the edge of the rabbit hole here.

Great rolls, enter the rabbit hole, you won't be disappointed.

@all: Of course I have to think about not chaotic warbands. Like an emerging Bretonnian knight on his quest to find the grail, a young dwarven brewer who lost his brewery and family on hist quest for revenge, a bored son of a merchant who stumbles in a nerverending adventure with a drunken fellow ( could be a red haired dwarf ;))
Did anyone try to use the same system like above for " good" heroes. If yes a link would be great. If no I may have just found a cool project to start.

I've not seen such a thing attempted so far, but I would definitely be interested in it (and indeed in helping with the development or playtesting of such a project!)

Is this actually going to be used on the Oldhammer day? If so, then I had better get collecting and painting.
