If you're familiar with the Michael Moorcock's Eternal Champion series, you'll be aware of a little black and white cat with wings called Whiskers who accompanies Jhary-a-conel (and also Jaspar Colinadous), companion to the Eternal Champion.
Citadel released an excellent sculpt (by Jes Goodwin) of Jhary-a-conel as part of the Eternal Champions range, complete with Whiskers perched on his shoulder:
Forgive the poor picture which has helpfully focussed on Jhary's sword rather than Whiskers.
But what if you happen to desire a little winged cat not perched on someone else's shoulder? I couldn't find anything suitable which matched. So I got John Pickford to sculpt up my own little winged cat....let's call him Friskers:
This dear little chap measures 15mm from nose to tail tip and is a simply stunning sculpt when you figure he could happily sit on my little finger nail. I am having him cast up and will probably be making copies available to interested parties
