Help with Giant Shrew

Harry

Does anyone know of a giant shrew miniature made by anyone ... any time ... ever????

(Can even be a cheap plastic toy type thing?)

Thanks.

Schleich is a good option. The only issue I had with those figures is that the paint won't dry as usual and remains sticky for some hours.
Btw. what is giant for you?
Darksword has a shrew master frog that comes with two shews, but they only have dog size for 28mm

Didn't have any problems with these but I stripped them before hand with very short dives in acetone (their paint resists Dettol) which made the rubber o soft until it hardened back, an AP grey spray after that and they were good to paint as any other model. Had to pin the legs though, they were far too flexible.

My cat brings in shrews every now and again, they'd be giant on 28mm scale and you're welcome to one?

No painting necessary!

It just so happens I might be able to help with this, I'll check the scrap box and let you know 8-)

Apologies Harry,

Initial search of the scrap box hasn't turned up the figure, but I've other boxes of stuff which I haven't gone through yet, such is life.

PS. no Mark, I haven't forgotten about the O&G's, I've located some of the boxes of unpainted stuff, just need to find the others! :?

I'm sure GW/Citadel did one many moon ago. If I find the model I'll put a photo of it in with Tin Man and Oxy. Could be a giant rat I remember though.

Thank you all very much.
Didn't know Citadel had made one.
At least I know what I am looking for now.

But given that these will be had to find if anyone knows of another .... do let me know.

Given the likely cost wouldn't it be easier to get a giant rat with reasonably small ears and extend it's nose with green stuff? Given how out the rats can be and the fluid scale of giant animals I'd defy anyone to say it wasn't a shrew.

Yes it would ... can you steel some of your brothers ... the big one with the arched back would work well.
He's got loads ... he will never miss them.
