Help please, ID for an old sci-fi gent?

I've owned this chap for over 20 years, I've no idea where I got him from but almost certainly from a trade within my gaming group of the time.

Unfortunately his base is obscured by a big blob of Milliput, so I don't know whether there are any useful markings on the underside.

Any ideas?

I don't actually know but it looks familiar in style, maybe the space lords range or a Bob Naismith sculpt?

Scroll down to the first adventurer pack and there's your chap. I was right it is a spacelords figure. The 2nd adventurer pack is sold by em4 but I'd quite happily buy this pack if they ever cast it again.
