stone cold lead
Vassal
It's been a while since I last had something I could show over here so it's nice to finally have some old (and not so old) Citadel stuff done (a commission job though). Bit of a mash up of 80's, 90's and more recent models with a couple of non-Citadel thrown in too.
Player numbers are all decals although being home printed I had to do a bit of over painting. Morg's shoulder pad number is one of my number decals and the wings are from an old space marine vehicle decal sheet. Lots of pics of everything over on my website (in the Blood Bowl folder in my gallery) and on my blog and Facebook page if you click the links in my sig. Some of the images are quite large so don't want to clog up the page here with them all.
Some fun stuff in that lot. Morg 'N' Thorg was great to paint up. Not really my era for ogres as I'm more of an 80's Goodwin/Olley fan but it was a really good sculpt for painting. I was a bit unsure what I thought of the modern branch wraith until I started painting it and then came to rather like it. The treemen are models that I hated back in the day but now having had them in front of me I really like them.
The bases are a little bare on grass towards the front of the models as they have magnets embedded in them which means the two 'balls' can be attached for play.
