Grenadier undead..

I was thrilled to see some iconic miniatures from my youth before I've heard of GW are still available. Now i wonder if it's time to expand my collection of old gw plastic undead with some old school grenadier metal. anyone have experiences to share of say, grenadier undead cavalry, how would they look like next to gw plastic skeleton or the metal death riders(anyone have pictures)?
 
Back in the day I had two grenadier wraiths riding horses to lead my skeleton riders, they looked fine, perhaps the horses were a little small next to the plastic ones but would be fine next to the old metal death riders. The horses were flesh and blood though.
 
whoza thats a great looking force. Those horsemen certainly don't look out of place. Need to get me some of those.

Now I'm connected to Treps... I finish my current projet and I start the "shields project", probably in October 2015.
 
The old metal Citadel Undead horses are quite small but broad and the original Grenadier skeleton cavalry are a bit taller but much skinnier models. You might get away with it but I was never fond of the early Grenadier skeletons compared to what Citadel were doing and the styles are quite different. The later Grenadier Undead horses (the early 90's stuff Chico posted) mixes much better and you can get them nice and cheaply at Forlorn Hope Games (great company btw! :) )

Your RoC shields and your new Lichmaster designs would be definite purchases for me.
 
Nico made some new "Shields of Vileness", they will be soon available at Via Ludibunda !
