Gork and Mork when did they appear in Warhammer lore?
This is a question that popped up, during a tangent, in a conversation I had on Reddit the other day. These days they are firmly part of 40K (and I assume though I don't play AoS) but I have no idea when they first appeared. Certainly there is no mention of them in my 2nd and 3rd edition WFB books (at least that I can find) and they weren't mentioned in the 1st edition 40K rule book. I have some hazy recollection that Gargants in Space Marine were based on Gork and Mork but that might be my old brain making stuff up. The first time I can remember them being mentioned is in the game Gorka-Morka which was around the time 40k moved from 2nd to 3rd edition.
