Goodwin ogre

Bought and painted this one recently... Everyone love these Jes Goodwin ogres... and so do I.

Think it came out fine... Or what do you think? I really hope you like it

Does anyone know if this ogre has a name?

blimey that's a bit nice, love it, I've always loved the Goodwin ogre sculpts and you did a great job on it, love all the stipling on the skin and I've always been a fan of stripey pants

Excellent piantjob, the skin is really great and the stripey pants are near mandatory for these models. I like the fact you used subdued colours for teh pants so that it leaves the attention on the skin. Really great job. This one is one I still lack and these loveley pictures just twist the knife in the wound. Do you have any more coming?

Thanks .. No, unfortunately I have haven't got more of these guys coming up. Other old school things, yes... but at the time speaking, I do not own any other of the goodwin ogres. well maybe one... but it was converted many years ago - stupid thing to do, I realize that...now

Lovely job. Like the high contrast highlights and the use of colour. The mottling on the skin really enhances it.

That's beautifully done. As others have said the skin and the stripes are excellent, I especially like the red glazes applied to the ears and lips etc. I'm a fan of the base too, I can see the allure of using those round bases and filling the middle with your own basing technique...
