Thought it might be useful for posterity to post a group shot of my ghosts for scale comparison prior to them being primed (normally I paint "off base", but lots of these have moulded bases so I opted to just base the lot ahead of a lick of paint).

So we've got a mix of classic Citadel ghosts alongside two of the Middlehammer "spirit host" Citadel models (these do work okay-ish on 20mm bases, but were designed to go as part of a 40mm swarm type setup so you need to play a little with balance). Then adding in some of the Ghosts of Midlam Manor from Midlam Miniatures, which scale very nicely with the old Citadel stuff. Finally there are two robed spirit type chaps (one far right front row and one towards the right back row) that I can't off the top of my head remember quite where I got them (brain nudge much appreciated).
Anyhow for essentially four different sets of miniatures I think they all gel together quite nicely. Nothing fancy planned for the painting of these - probably just black prime, white zenithal and one of the ghosty contrast type paints with a bit of tidying up after that. I think I need some miniatures under my belt to get back into painting properly so quick wins are on the cards!
