okay.. now.. here is the thing.. ARE they digital sculpts? while I do say some people if they can be arsed, can get the style much closer to hand done with 3D design, BUT.. why I'm saying is LAFIG.. they have Brough hand sculpted miniatures, scanned them, and then sell them like that. So you kinda get the mixture of hand sculpt with 3D printed. of course, there is a slight quality drop for a number of reasons but mostly it's fair enough and not as noticeable.

I mean, these are the guys that brought Fimm's Fae Walkers and did that scan and print. So ARE these Digital designed sculpts? I was trying to see a sculptor name or anything but didn't notice it.. though might be not looked well enough.

My money would be on their being physical sculpts scanned in.
They might well be - I've not studied what it says on the KS, I just assumed they were digital. I've often thought scanning/cleaning up physical sculpts was an interesting use of technology, I think there was a Golden Demon that was disqualified that did that with a LOTR column model - scanned and reposed or something. I forget the details.

Anyhow I am tempted to back this one, but then again I have so many unpainted models!

I messaged and kinda got a reply. I have tried to follow it up and see if I get a reply. I think part of the problem is language.. I think he might be Swedish.. or atleast, his team mate who did them (who he does work with in person) is. He did say a new one coming up will be 3D scanned models so... I'm not 100% sure if this ones are or not.. not bad but I think minor language issue ^_^;
