Galpino's fantasy miniatures

Galpino

Serf
Thought I would start a general thread to keep all my miniatures in. First up is a night goblin from around 1992.

That's an unusual, but very nice choice of colours
and a very good execution, too

Thank you very much Tex! I have a thing for unusual colours, so very glad you like them. I have two more in the set so we'll see how they turn out.

TinSoldier and JPRP, thank you for the kind words. Here's another Night Goblin. I like this one, although it doesn't seem to photograph as well as the first one.

GW River Troll

Here is a GW River Troll from 1992, sculpted by Michael Perry. He needs a base, which could be challenging. I'll post more pictures when that's done!

These are really excellent! As has been said, lovely unusual gobo colour schemes and your painting is very highly skilled.

Lovely stuff, I'll look forward to seeing more.

Sleepysod and Lands Annex, many thanks for your kind words. I have made a scenic base, just fiddling with details before I take pictures :)

River troll on base

Here is the river troll on a scenic base. It's a bit shiny, but looks good in person :)

These are such beautiful miniatures. Stunning paint jobs. For me the Night Goblin with the banner is "the one", that just oozes oldhammer, I feel I'm looking at something straight out of an old White Dwarf or Fantasy Miniatures book. Very inspirational.

Neat painting; some rather unusual colors there, but it all works really well. The river troll base is beautiful, although I find it a little big for the model. The longbeard is excellent - I also never tire of painting dwarfs or greenskins.

Thank you for your kind words Micha. And yes, unusual colours is kind of my thing! The large base was not really planned in great detail, I just had a piece of board that size, it came with a novelty disgusting almond tequila and shot glass attached. Glad you like the look though!
