Fenryll miniatures

Does anyone have experience of Fenryll minis? How are their proportions next to older Citadel?
Some rather nice civilian figures in the range (and a few Dwarves may have caught my eye too…).

They do have some nice stuff, interesting to see they have (alas only one) a building front. I've often thought I'd quite like to make just a frontage as a backdrop. I think it was Stronghold who used to do a whole set of buildings like this, but no longer. Probably best as a scratch build really.

At the risk of thread derailment and for anyone interested these are the building fronts I was muttering about: https://cianty-tabletop.blogspot.com/2013/04/gone-fronting.html (some lovely bits of building on that blog BTW, although not currently active)

Can happily live with that difference!
You should see that 3d printed cart that arrived in the post at the weekend… For giants not dwarfs!!

I bought one of the apoc biker/trike things yeasr ago and had a horrible time with it. Poor quality casting, things did not fit well, air bubbles, it needs extra parts fabricated to make it look/work right. I never finished it, threw it in a box where it still sits almost 15 years later. Not a good experience for me. Have not bought from them since.
Might be a good idea to see the product you are buying instead of offline?

yikes. resin casts mostly have problems (it's very hard (it seams) to remove them).. hopefully they are a bit better these days.. also one reason for metal.. better to deal with and more chance of better casts (not to mention for the caster, you have far less waste as poorly casted resin can't have much done with it, but poor cast metal can just be melted

Would have raised this with the seller! The only resin I have had issues with was a Finecast Techmarine, but we all know how badly that experiment went…

I did not build it right away, and it was an ebay seller i think. Not their problem, i could have dealt with fenryll direct but... it was not worth it back then.
