My favourite are the lovely people of Stirland, if I were to deviate from these great peoples I would probably dip my toes into some Dwarf shizzle.

I like the Stirlanders dour nature and unwillingness to change for the sake of it. I like that they hold onto proven practices and practical traditions. I am also particularly fond of their district of cold beer.
They are the gloomy and downtrodden underdogs, and I dig that.

They seem a sensible rural folk.

Plus yellow and green are cool colours.

I also have a soft spot for the 'You are what you eat' Kroot and the comically evil, though irredeemably camp, Dark Eldar.

Can't stand knife ears, but I do like the Wood Elves. Greenskins are cool as well.

Quite partial to the boys from Nuln, all them shooty things please me.

Actually I totally forgot 40k was a thing for a minute, since I stopped following it after the imho pointless introduction of Primaris marines and the return of Rowboat Girlyman.

My favourite would be Legion of the Damned. 😁

Either Da WAAAGH! of Da Orkz, or Da Orcs, or BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!, or FOR THE EMPEROR!, or somethin' like those. It depends on my tastes, but The Imperium, Orkz, and Chaos for 40K, for a variety of reasons, and Chaos, Orcs, and the Empire for Fantasy, for a variety of reasons. Kek.
