Far from important- Army Painter Brush coating

Been bothering me a bit but, while it's far from important, I was wondering if anyone knows what Army Painter use to coat the handles of their paintbrushes?
the reason I ask is Uhu, which contains an acetone, does a pretty good job at melting it's way through like well, acetone through polystyrene. though Polystyrene seams like a weird thing to coat a paint brush in..

So it just more a matter of interest cause it was a bit of an unexpected thing to notice and it kinda bothers me ^_^

No idea (that's useful isn't it!), acetone is pretty decent at removing most things however which reminds me I need to fish out my Orc dreadnought bits that have been sat in acetone to get rid of the superglue residue.

Thinking of brushes I get annoyed with companies that put really sticky stickers on Raphael Series 8404 as the nice orange paint sometimes comes off when I'm removing the sticker residue with isopropyl.
