Fan Sculpt Necron Model Lost to time

Hi all,

Before I left deleted my Social Media accounts, a guy in a 40k 2nd or 3rd edition group shared a find he had made, a fansculpt Necron scorpion sold in the US around 2000/2001

Something I had been looking for, for around 15 years. At the time of release I couldnt order anything, and had since relied on ebay.

Outside of the images below, does anyone know where these came from? The artist etc?

Hi,

This is a very interesting request, so I posted the image to the NewOldies Miniatures Community on Facebook. There are a couple of sculptors who frequent that group who have done 40K fan sculpts in the past, so I figured it couldn't hurt to ask there. Anyhow, if anyone identifies the sculptor or source for the sculpt, I'll get back to you here.
