Early RT Orks

To help get me back in to the painting (rather than collecting…) side of the hobby, I’ve embarked on a quest to paint up a small force of early (I.E before plastic arms) Rogue Trader orks.

Very nice, I've been pondering how to do mine so love seeing others. I quite like the regular eyeballs actually, brings out the expressions quite well.

Indeed! I tried red, but it didn’t really go with the colours I thought. There is meant to be a sort of pinkish bloodshot to them here. Must be some genetic mutation!

I've opted for yellow for my most recent goblinoids, not for any particular reason other than fancying something other than red. Not decided about pupils (partially because I'm rubbish at painting them!)

Love ‘em! Great skin tones and the eyes are fine!
Must resist temptation to get distracted paint Space Orcs…

Ooh! Very nicely done. Love what you did with the Battle Wagon. And the wristwatch is a lovely touch. I quite like the white eyes. I settled on yellow, myself, but the white stands out better. Bravo!
