Desert Nomads

I recently finished painting up a set of the Peoples of the Sands, Phase 3 of the Outlanders range....

I shall be using them as Ash Waste Nomads in both our I-Munda and Necromunda campaigns.

Young Noif - Edited_zpszqqsmuyq.jpg

A young Noif is usually taken away from its mother at a very tender age to be raised by its owner.
This creates a level of devotion in the beast so that it does not stray far from its new 'Mummy'.
As it grows to full size it can also be ridden as well as carry a much heavier load.

The Shaman....with psychic nodes ;)

And the Children of the Tribe......

The young of the tribe are traditionally dressed in darker robes which make it easier for them to hide when out scavenging, which is the role they usually fill in society.

Not the best paint jobs, all drybrushing and washes really, but I thought that approach may work given the subject matter.

Link to the KS if anyone is interested in acquiring any...
