you know the score: paint up something from an undead army list.
my first effort is five ghouls from heresy miniatures.

Those Ghouls look great, straight out of a Lovecraft story. I've a set of those for my own Undead army, but have yet to assemble them. I'd been wondering about what colour to do them, the grey looks good, might have to do mine like that. Alas not sure I'm going to find time to do any undead painting this December myself, I'd been hoping to get my Zombie Dragon done, but that may have to wait.

thanks; can't ask for higher praise than that.

there's a touch of purple in the mix as well, although it doesn't really show in the photo's.
here's the last three along with a nosferatu / necrarch and the familiar for one of my necromancers (repurposed chaos sorcerer).

and here's the whole unit so far:

i need to double it to make a warhammer armies legal unit. any suggestions for compatible figures? my plan had been another ten from mantic, but they currently only seem to do boxes of twenty, and i think that might be a bit too samey.

My Deadcember contribution is thus - an Undead Centaur, converted from a Tomb Kings skeleton steed and a Reaper Warlord skeleton archer:

More details on the blog (where I give away that it was actually painted for the White Dwarf painting challenge for the month of November... but I finished it pretty much on the stroke of midnight of November 30th so it's got to count double, right? ;) With the time I've been having of it I figured I wouldn't be able to get anything else Deadcember related done):

i'll let it slide so long as you don't object to my bending the rules with these:

not exactly from an undead army list, but i use them instead of zombini's, so they definately fit my elastic criteria.

more details on my wip thread, should anyone be interested.

I'm a bit late to the party, but I did celebrate Deadcember as I always try to. My favorite Oldhammer painting challenge of the year!
