[Tiny Basement Wars]

Here's a few WIP shots of my early stage Dark Futures conversions.

I ran out today to pick up a few more cars to press into service:


Using $0.99 Hot Wheels and scrap styrene, these will be the cheapest mini's I've worked on since . . . well, ever!

I'll be posting some updates on my blog. My first finished car, the Katana 2033, is already up!

How are you dismantling the cars?

I don't know about those cars specifically, but usually you will find rivets at the bottom of die cast cars.
Drill them out and you can dismantle them.
Some have screws you can open with the right tools and some are glued which you have to open with sharp implements and brute force.
