Cursed City project

I have been remiss at posting images on this site, but have been working in the background to put together an oldhammer style miniature set for Cursed City. First up are my replacements for the “Ulfenwatch”. C17 Skeletons, all but one of which are slots from around 1987. Will post more soon.

Nicely done! Easy on the eye. The simple red and bone style pops and is interesting to look at. The tarnished bronze shields look very good.

Ta! The C17 skeletons are an overlooked set of minis - lots of variety of poses which means a single colour for the cloth gives them a level of degree of uniformity. The shields are from wargames foundry (Argonaut shields), the bronze works well - again for uniformity - but I might also paint a few in the future with flaking paint

Lovely set of photos (like the dark background) and a lovely set of miniatures. The red colour scheme on the skeletons and the red/blue on the zombies is both simple and very effective. I've the odd C17 skeleton in my collection, but it's great to see so many together.

Thanks all. Next up are the Vampires. These are mainly from the C18 Night Horrors range, but Drac and his wives are from Bad Squiddo. I’m unsure which I will use, or how many I need, and I may still picked some of the later WFB models (4th edition +). I’m quite found of the “Strigoi” models and thre are a couple of other manufacturers I might seek out. Suggestions for models welcomed! Have included the werewolf because why not?

The dark background is actually a computer monitor ;-)

For the “Kosargi Nightguard” there are no suitable Citadel minis from the oldhammer period, so I have gone with these two as they give off a similar vibe.

I like these Dark Eye miniatures and they are painted beautiful, too!

And here are my rats…

excellent. what's the big one in the middle?

He’s a Citadel Fiend Factory “Wererat” / “Giant rat” - there are two versions and I think this is the 2nd version - he’s a good lump of metal!
