Colour Schemes - Early RT Era Ork Vehicles

Hello all,

I am on a bit of an early Kev Adams space ork kick at the moment.
I'm trying to recreate Luggubs Drop Legion from the Rogue Trader book.
I've seen Lead Plague's fantastic version of some of the vehicles (below), but I was after some more painted examples of them. I don't wish to steal his colour scheme (although I am tempted) but don't have many ideas beyond 'paint it black and rusty'.
