i was surprised about a year ago in a discussion on a different forum when someone talked about how much they hate metal models and how plastic was the best thing since sliced bread. i was shocked, like " whatyu talking about Wylis?"
The poster replied, "i want to apply some paint as quickly as possible and get my minis on the game table, not mess around with epoxy , drill-bits, files, or even primer etc."
until then it never crossed my mind that people bought these things just for games, i mean we had our prized minis back in the day we would put down on the table to represent our character on a dungeon map, but not speed-painted armies.
So I'm curious, what percent of people here collect and paint , then put them in a glass case like me? Versus the war-gaming aspect. i always wondered this in my regular forum, but they don't have a poll option there.
thx
