Agree with Fimm. The Golem is a bit .. newer? not a bad one but not one I recognise from the day, but have seen more modern stuff with it.

Incredible patience to paint all that monopose plastic! Well done and sure looks impressive.

However ... for me this represents the nadir of the minis put out by the GW. Injection moulding and the sculpting for it hadn't been perfected so the figures have no detail and are really cartoonish. This is exacerbated by the effect a mass unit of them has. Perfectly regimented rows of figures in the same pose as if they are a Napoleonic line. Perfectly regimented does not scream orcs and goblins to me.

So I applaud your efforts and marvel at your dedication but it doesn't pull my heart strings like the 3rd edition gobbos that went before it.

Lovely lovely stuff. The Cerberus handler is awesome, brilliant. The Wrym is very cool - where did you pick that up? Units look cool, always a fan of HQ orcs and I do have a bit of a soft spot in some ways for the monoposed masses! Wishing I'd put more moss on my Orc Rogue Idol, seeing yours, although I guess I still could!
