Classic (RT/2nd edition) Space Orks

By way of an introduction, I thought I would post some photos of some recently painted models. :)

This is the Bad Moon contingent, so far, for my Space Orks. I have always liked Bad Moons, and in 2nd edition 40K you need to take Bad Moon mobs to be able to have 2 heavy weapons per 5 boys, the minimum mob size (all other clans can only take 1).

I hope you like them.

The group:

The Nob and his sidekick:

And just because they are my three favourite ork models of all time, another photo of these three:

Hello! Yes, I've made my way over here to take part in the old school goodness.

Thanks for the comment, these ones have the same colour scheme as the Blood Axes, just substituting bright blue for the grey. It gives them a fairly different look, but they still look good in the same army together. At first I wasn't sure about this colour scheme at all, but it has grown on me to the point I sort of wish I had done the whole lot as Bad Moons!

Hi Warburton, nice to see you here as well! You'll fit right in! =) Welcome - and as mentioned on LAF, your orks and the terrain is great!

Thanks, chaps. I have been getting a lot of enjoyment out of reading this forum lately, I thought it was only fair to post some of my stuff here too, and also get to talk to some other people who might not be on LAF. :)

And good on you for a first thread filled with some very nicely painted space orks.

Some great looking orks there, although I do have a soft spot for Bad Moons.

Especially like the blue and the Orky 'thinking' face on the sidekick.

Thanks, chaps!

Yes, I tried to go for bright colours, but with the dull fatigues giving some sense of military look (very slight, I know....).

And, the thinking ork is, as said, one of my favourite ork models of all time! :)

Stunning work! Yellow is a challenging color to get right...but you have nailed it.

I look forward to seeing more as your project grows.

Cheers,

Blue
