Champion of Tzeentch on Disc

Mercury

Serf
Finished this guy recently. From what I can tell he's a 1991 release for WHFB 3rd, from the release of the Realm of Chaos - Lost and the Damned lines.

He'd obviously been dropped a few times before he got to me, mostly nothing too noticable, but I did end up sanding a mark of Tzeentch off of his head that was smushed beyond recognition unfortunately. Only thing I added to him was a holstered pistol to more accurately represent the role I intend to use him in, a Balefire Acolyte in modern kill team.

They didn't really label some of the chaos mins which in the books as that but fair enough ^_^ a nice Jes Goodwin sculpt (and Michael Perry on the dice I believe). Nice job

I managed to find them on the lost minis wiki, all they've got is a catalogue page though. 1000007885.jpg
I'm honestly not that concerned with the exact release date though, I just like 'em. I do actually have the moon head one and a fungoid disc also that I need to paint some time.

Very nice, I've always liked a fantasy to sci-fi conversion, one big advantage of making the sci-fi world so medieval I guess! Interesting base, I take it you've effectively mortared mini bricks together there?

Yeah, you nailed it. I use scissors to cut out bricks from a sheet of cork and glue them into the base, then just press texture paste between them and use a damp paper towel to wipe off the top.

I've done this kind of base a couple times in the past, and I actually really like it for the amount of effort it requires vs the final look, I find them fairly quick to make and paint.

Edit: I did not realize how huge these images were on desktop! Sorry about that.
