C39 Men of the east

The Assault Group do have a nice looking selection of eastern european stuff in their renaissance range, maybe they'd also be worth checking out?

No idea if this is of any help or interest to anyone but here's a comparison pic of some citadel minis with old glory and some others.
I never got around buying renaissance stuff from old glory so it's only their pirates I can put on a lineup.

Wow, thanks for this photo! Really good to see these compared, I've not bought any Old Glory yet and wondered how they'd measure up. I've seen so few photos of redoubt's landsknecht types, it may be slightly off-topic here but do you have any more photos of that line?
 
No prob, glad if the pic was useful. I was into historicals (pirates, mostly) at the time of buying these so I have very few landsknechts from Redoubt but can definitely take some more pics with what I have.

Cheers. I always thought their catalogue sketches looked lovely but I've seen a couple photos of sculpts that looked really chunky and primitive. Hoping they hold up - the one in your photo doesn't look too bad :)
 
"Chunky and primitive" sounds about right, I'm afraid. :|
There's certainly charm in old school drawings instead of photos but those can give pretty vague picture of what you're really getting...
From my limited experience, Redoubt's quality does differ between ranges; FIW indians I've got are quite good in detail but everything else I have is more or less a miss. And even indians I have are not citadel quality, that's for sure.
