C29 Plague Elemental

Also known as Mabrothax, the Plague Elemental is a lovely model to paint. I had a bunch of fun doing this one as I was messing about with layering the new contrast paints, and I like to think it came out quite well:

Lovely miniature and agree it is a joy to paint. I’m impressed that you have mainly used contrast paints, have had only a limited experience with them so far - looks like I’ll have to persevere. And love the nurgling companion by his side!

GReat treatment of a classic mini and good idea adding the nurgling. The contrasts results are making me think I should try them.

Thanks! I'm really enjoying them, they kind of work like a heavy ink wash basically, they're useful as an extra tool in the paint set.
