BOYL 2026 cancelled (Aug and Oct dates)

We are very sorry to announce that, because the existing premises at East Stoke are no longer suitable, we have decided to postpone this year’s Oldhammer BOYL event.

Foundry are actively seeking new, better and bigger premises to relocate to which is likely to take some time. We are in regular contact with Foundry and we will update everyone with moving news as it arises.

What about the backup October date?
We will NOT postpone to the October date - the next Bring Out Your Lead will be in 2027.

What this means for you
We will not 'recreate' BOYL at another venue - Bring Out Your Lead 2026 just won't go ahead. We imagine that some local 'bootleg' BOYLs will appear, and other similar types of events, but these will be organised separately and any relation to our August date and location is co-incidental.

As a result, if you have booked accommodation and travel, we advise you to cancel.

Bring Our Your Lead 2026 Cancelled!

We've just heard the unfortunate news that BOYL 2026 has been cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the organisers.

We're devastated to hear that this event, a cornerstone of the Oldhammer Calendar, will be foreced to miss a year and we wish them luck in coming back again in 2027 at a new venue.

But in the interim, we are looking into the possibility of holding an alternative event in Nottingham on the weekend when BOYL would have been running, pooling resources with folks in the Leadbelt.

Obviously it's a little early to be discussing locations and other specifics, but keep on eye on our social media for updates and information in the coming days and weeks.

Also Lead & Steel 2027 will be taking place on 03/04/27, offering another day of Oldhammer goodness, so put the date in your diaries.

Big shame, was going to be my first one, although I had to cancel a couple of days ago as dates have changed on a contract!

Bummer. This was to be my first and I’ve already booked travel and lodging. May keep the tickets in place and just pop in, depending what’s going on.
