Idle browse of eBay when I should be working and I see "giant in blister" .... ooo it's an original blister and it's currently really cheap. Might be nice to have in the pile.

Quite shiny I thought...

A closer inspection of the photograph perhaps shows why it's so cheap... and that wasn't metal reflecting.

Blooming literally ... wonder if it's a one off, nah another one just like it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/327213300734

Might give them a miss.

yikes.. that said.. erm.. it doesn't spread to the foam or card?... also, I'm always surprised by 80s foam in these things in one piece.. foam isn't known for lasting well.. even sealed 90s stuff it would have degraded.. Just interesting the various effects and things these have ^_^

Ffs. And no mention of the said bloom, no caveat emptor. The state of the back of the blister card suggests it's been sat in storage damp somewhere. Possibly a loft, cellar, garage or wherever. Never seen it that 'white' like that, literally like an effervescent salt in brickwork! Seen only grey in my life, on someone's else's thankfully(!)
