Blogger Vs Spamalot

I just wanted to know if those of you who removed the captcha thingee from your blogs (with blogger) had the same problem as I had.
Until a few days ago, I had the captcha thing removed (because let's face it it's a pain) and it went fine but for a week now, I've had like 20 spam messages a day which is starting to get on my nerves. I've just put the captcha thing back on but wanted to check with you guys...

I had it off at the start of my Blog last May and had so much spam because of it. Now I wouldn't dream of removing it

Well I only got one or two spam messages in the last 8 months but since last week, 2 of my posts were literraly bombed by spam (not all of which appeared on the blog). I guess now the security is back on I won't have any but it really is a pity...

Never had captcha on, don't get any bot-spam. Lucky me!

At least captcha is now numbers-based. I used to have real difficulty figuring out the letters at times

Same here, I sometimes had to refresh 3 or 4 times to get it ...
